It was another warm summer day in Viridian City. The local Pidgey and Spearow chirped as usual, bringing a comforting city feel. As the morning lights beamed in from overhead, it caused our hero to stir. Rubbing his eyes a bit, he gave a fresh yawn, before glancing to the calender on his desk.

The young foxling had awoken to the melody of the morning birds. They chirped a friendly tune, as the morning sun cast the first shadows of the day. At first glance, outside the cave's entrance, was a lush field of flowers and grass, still dripping from the morning dew. A thick fog was cast, granting feable visabiltiy.
Failing an attempt to move his injured arm, he was reminded of the past night's events. Resisting the urge to squeal in pain, he forced his endurement of his afflictions, as not to wake his companion.
